What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant because the Landlord in good faith requires possession of the rental unit for the purpose of residential occupation for at least one year.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective November 30, 2022. The Landlord may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office (Sheriff) if the unit is not vacated by that date. The Landlord shall apply the rent deposit and interest owed on the deposit for the last month of the Tenant's tenancy. The Tenant shall also pay the Landlord compensation of $60.07 per day for the use of the unit starting June 30, 2022 until the move-out date.
