What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to persistent late payment of rent. The Landlord served a valid N8 Notice of Eviction to the Tenant, which showed the Tenant was late paying rent every month from March 2019 to October 2019.

The ruling

The Tenant shall pay the lawful rent for October 2021 by October 15, 2021 and pay the lawful rent in full and on time for the period from November 1, 2021 through October 1, 2022. If the Tenant fails to make any of these payments, the Landlord may apply to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant.
