What happened

Tenant applied for an order determining that the Landlord illegally entered the rental unit, altered the locking system, substantially interfered with the reasonable enjoyment of the rental unit, harassed the Tenant, and withheld vital services.

The ruling

The Landlord is ordered to immediately allow the Tenant to recover possession of the rental unit and provide the Tenant with keys to the doors of the rental unit and the residential complex. The Landlord is also ordered to ensure the vital services of electricity and water are reinstated upon the Tenant's repossession. The remaining issues in the application are adjourned to a future hearing date.
