What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after serving a valid Notice of Termination due to non-payment of rent.

The ruling

The Tenants are ordered to pay their monthly rent of $1,581.61 on the 1st of each month starting July 1, 2021 until the Board reschedules the hearing for the Tenants' pending applications. The Tenants are also ordered to pay $12,827.88 in rent arrears and filing fees to the Landlord in installments of $250 per month starting July 21, 2021 and $600 per month starting January 21, 2022 until the balance is paid in full. If the Tenants fail to make any of the required payments, the Landlord may apply for an order terminating the tenancy and evicting the Tenants.
