What happened

Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after the Tenant failed to meet a condition specified in a previous order issued by the Board on July 22, 2021.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective August 27, 2021. The Tenant must pay the Landlords $4,769.16, which includes rent arrears up to August 16, 2021 and the costs related to the previous application fee. The Tenant must also pay $23.01 per day for compensation for use of the unit starting August 17, 2021 until the Tenant moves out. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by August 27, 2021, the Tenant will owe interest starting August 28, 2021.
