What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to persistent late payment of rent. The Tenant was not able to reasonably participate in the initial hearing due to his disability, but the order was not found to be in error.
The ruling
The Tribunal granted the review hearing request and cancelled the previous order. The Tenant is ordered to pay the current lawful monthly rent of $750 in full and on time for the next 12 months, and to pay the $186 application fee. If the Tenant fails to make any of the payments, the Landlord may apply to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant.
