What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to undue damage caused to the rental unit. The Tenants had vacated the unit prior to the hearing.

The ruling

The Tenants are ordered to pay the Landlord $100 for the reasonable cost of repairing the damage, and $186 for the cost of filing the application, for a total of $286. If the Tenants do not pay the full amount by January 31, 2022, they will start to owe interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
