What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after the Tenant failed to meet a condition specified in a previous order issued by the Board.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective August 16, 2020. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $2,878.00 for rent arrears and application fees, plus $28.77 per day for compensation for use of the unit from April 1, 2020 until the Tenant vacates. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by August 16, 2020, the Landlord may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office for enforcement.
