What happened

The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective July 31, 2021. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $11,638.62, which includes rent arrears up to July 20, 2021 and the costs related to the previous application, less the rent deposit and interest owed on the deposit. The Tenant must also pay $53.75 per day in compensation for occupying the unit after July 21, 2021 until the Tenant vacates. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by July 31, 2021, the Tenant will owe interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
