What happened

Landlord applied to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to the Tenant not paying rent and because the Tenant entered into an agreement to terminate the tenancy. The Landlord withdrew the L1 application, and the Board ordered the tenancy terminated with the Tenant required to vacate by April 30, 2021.

The ruling

The Landlord's L1 application was dismissed. The tenancy between the Landlord and Tenant is terminated, and the Tenant must move out of the rental unit on or before April 30, 2021. If the unit is not vacated by that date, the Landlord may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office for enforcement. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $190 for the cost of filing the application.
