What happened

Landlords applied for orders to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to rent arrears, serious impairment of safety, and damage to the premises. The Landlords also claimed compensation for the arrears and damage.

The ruling

The Tenant shall pay the Landlords $13,361.00, which represents the rent owing to February 4, 2021, the reasonable cost to repair damage to the premises, and the Landlords' filing fees for the applications. If the Tenant does not pay the amount owing by July 10, 2021, she will owe simple interest calculated from July 11, 2021 at 2.00% annually on the balance outstanding.
