What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent as per the mediated settlement issued on March 8, 2020.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective August 15, 2020. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $2,984.89 plus $22.06 per day for compensation for the use of the unit starting August 5, 2020 until the Tenant moves out. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by August 15, 2020, the Tenant will start to owe interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
