What happened

Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to Tenant's failure to pay rent on or before May 1, 2021 as specified in a previous order issued by the Board.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated and the Tenant must move out of the rental unit on or before May 29, 2021. If the unit is not vacated by that date, the Landlords may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office (Sheriff) to enforce the eviction. However, the eviction cannot be enforced due to Ontario Regulation 266/21 until the regulation is removed by the Ontario Government.
