What happened

Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant because the Landlords have entered into an agreement of purchase and sale of the rental unit and the purchaser requires possession of the rental unit for the purpose of residential occupation.

The ruling

The tenancy between the Landlords and the Tenant is terminated, effective September 20, 2021. The Tenant must move out of the rental unit on or before October 1, 2021. The Tenant shall also pay to the Landlords $36.16 per day for compensation for the use of the unit from September 21, 2021 to the date the Tenant moves out of the unit, and $186.00 for the cost of filing the application.
