What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after the Tenants failed to meet a condition specified in a previous order issued by the Board.

The ruling

The tenancy between the Landlord and the Tenants is terminated. The Tenants must move out of the rental unit on or before August 31, 2020. The Tenants shall pay the Landlord $1,014.72, which represents the rent arrears to August 20, 2020, less the rent deposit and interest the Landlord owes on the rent deposit. The Tenants shall also pay the Landlord $34.03 per day for compensation for the use of the unit starting August 21, 2020 to the date the Tenants move out of the unit.
