What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after serving a valid Notice to End Tenancy Early for Non-payment of Rent (N4 Notice), which the tenant did not void by paying the arrears. The ruling

The tenancy is terminated unless the Tenant pays $3,361 by July 31, 2022 or $5,036 by August 2, 2022 to void the order. If the Tenant does not pay, they must vacate the unit by August 2, 2022. The Tenant also owes daily compensation of $55.07 from June 21, 2022 until move-out.
