What happened

Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after serving a valid N4 Notice, which the Tenant did not void by paying the arrears. The Tenant had not vacated the rental unit by the hearing date.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated unless the Tenant pays $11,027 by July 31, 2022 or $12,227 by August 2, 2022 to void the order. If the Tenant does not pay, they must vacate by August 2, 2022 and pay $7,334.35 plus daily compensation of $39.45 from June 24, 2022 until move-out.
