What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent as per the previous order issued on August 26, 2022.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective February 13, 2023. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $5,312.38 (less any payments made after October 31, 2022) and $53.88 per day for use of the unit from February 3, 2023 until the Tenant moves out. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by February 13, 2023, the Tenant will owe interest at 5% annually on the outstanding balance.
