What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to non-payment of rent. The Landlord served a valid N4 Notice, which the Tenants did not void by paying the arrears. The Tenants were not present at the hearing despite proper service of notice.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated unless the Tenants void the order by paying $13,720.08 by August 27, 2022. If not voided, Tenants must vacate by August 27, 2022, and pay $8,046.66 plus $80.78 per day from July 22, 2022, until they move out. The eviction can be enforced by the Sheriff starting August 28, 2022, if the unit is not vacated.
