Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to non-payment of rent. The Tenant did not attend the hearing despite proper service of notice.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated unless the Tenant voids the order by paying $7,195.04 by October 31, 2022. If not voided, the Tenant must vacate by October 31, 2022, and pay $4,004.38 plus $40.23 per day from September 13, 2022, until move-out. The Landlord may file for eviction enforcement starting November 1, 2022, if the unit is not vacated.
