What happened
Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to non-payment of rent. The Tenant was in possession of the rental unit and had not paid the full rent from March 1, 2020 to June 30, 2021. The Landlords served a Notice of Termination effective November 11, 2020 due to the rent arrears.
The ruling
The Landlord's application for eviction of the Tenant is denied on the condition that the Tenant makes the specified payments to the Landlord to pay off the rent arrears and costs. If the Tenant fails to make any of the payments by the required dates, the Landlord may apply for an order terminating the tenancy and evicting the Tenant, and for the payment of any new arrears of rent.
