What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to non-payment of rent. The Tenant had not paid the full rent from March 1, 2020 to March 31, 2021, and the Landlord served a Notice of Termination with an effective date of August 12, 2020.
The ruling
The Tenant shall pay the Landlord $186.00 for the cost of filing the application. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by May 30, 2021, the Tenant will start to owe simple interest at 2.00% annually on the outstanding balance.
