What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to non-payment of rent. The Landlord also claimed charges related to NSF cheques. The Tenant did not void the N4 Notice by paying the arrears by the termination date or before the application was filed.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated unless the Tenant voids the order by paying the specified amount. If not paid, the Tenant must move out by March 6, 2023. The Tenant owes $6,915.75 to the Landlord, plus $56.52 per day from February 16, 2023, until move-out. The Landlord may file for eviction enforcement starting March 7, 2023, if the unit is not vacated.
