What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent and meet conditions specified in a previous order. The Tenant failed to pay the lawful monthly rent on or before February 1, 2021, as required by the previous order.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective May 22, 2021. The Tenant must pay $8,860.53 to the Landlord, representing rent owing up to May 11, 2021, less the rent deposit and interest. Additional compensation of $48.98 per day is owed from May 12, 2021 until the Tenant vacates. If full payment is not made by May 22, 2021, the Landlord may file for eviction enforcement starting May 23, 2021.
