What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after serving a valid Notice to End Tenancy Early for Non-payment of Rent (N4 Notice), which the tenant did not void by paying the arrears. The tenant was not present at the hearing.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective February 28, 2022. The tenant must pay $560.99 by January 31, 2022 or $2,748.99 by February 28, 2022 to void the order and continue the tenancy. If the tenant does not make the required payment, the landlord may file the order with the Sheriff to enforce the eviction.
