What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to non-payment of rent. The Landlord also claimed charges related to NSF cheques. The Tenant admitted fault and did not dispute the amount of arrears owing.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated unless the Tenant voids the order by paying $17,794.00 by November 30, 2022. If not voided, the Tenant must move out by November 30, 2022, and pay $15,732.25 plus $57.53 per day from October 26, 2022, until move-out. The eviction can be enforced by the Sheriff starting December 1, 2022, if the unit is not vacated.
