What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to Tenant's behavior that seriously impaired the safety of the Landlord and substantially interfered with the Landlord's reasonable enjoyment of the building. The Landlord alleged that the Tenant threatened, pushed, and disabled security cameras, and denied the Landlord access to the rental unit.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective March 8, 2023. The Tenant must move out by that date or the Landlord can file the order with the Court Enforcement Office for enforcement. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $8,904, which includes compensation for use of the unit, the application fee, and interest if the amount is not paid by March 8, 2023.
