What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after the Tenants failed to meet a condition specified in a previous order issued by the Board.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective February 14, 2022. The Tenants must pay the Landlord $3,494.56, which includes rent arrears up to February 3, 2022 and the cost of the previous application, less the rent deposit and interest. The Tenants must also pay $36.15 per day for compensation for use of the unit starting February 4, 2022 until they move out.
