What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after the Tenant failed to meet a condition specified in a previous order issued by the Board.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated, and the Tenant must move out by February 20, 2022. The Tenant shall pay the Landlord $2,077.79, which includes rent arrears up to February 9, 2022 and the costs related to the previous application, less the rent deposit and interest owed on the deposit. The Tenant shall also pay $40.63 per day for compensation for use of the unit starting February 10, 2022 until the Tenant moves out.
