What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to meet conditions specified in a previous LTB order. The Tenant failed to pay $50.00 towards outstanding arrears plus the full November 2022 rent by November 1, 2022, as required by the previous order.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective February 19, 2023. The Tenant must pay $6,429.23 to the Landlord, representing rent arrears up to February 8, 2023, less the rent deposit and interest. Additionally, the Tenant must pay $27.20 per day from February 9, 2023, until vacating the unit. If the Tenant does not vacate by February 19, 2023, the Landlord may file for eviction enforcement starting February 20, 2023.
