What happened

The landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the tenants due to their failure to pay rent as ordered in a previous LTB order.

The ruling

The previous LTB order CEL-96764-20 is cancelled. The tenancy is terminated and the tenants must vacate the unit by August 24, 2021. The tenants must pay the landlord $5,000.77 for rent arrears and costs, less the rent deposit and interest owed on the deposit. The tenants must also pay $78.42 per day in compensation for use of the unit starting August 1, 2021 until they vacate.
