What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to pay rent as specified in a previous order. The Tenants did not meet the conditions of the previous order to pay rent and arrears by the specified dates.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated and the Tenants must vacate the unit by August 3, 2021. The Tenants must pay the Landlord $3,878.52, which includes rent arrears up to July 23, 2021, less the rent deposit and interest owed on the deposit. The Tenants must also pay $52.98 per day in compensation for use of the unit starting July 24, 2021 until they vacate. If the Tenants do not pay the full amount by August 3, 2021, they will owe interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
