What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent. The Landlord sold the rental unit, so the application was amended to an L9 Application to collect rent arrears.

The ruling

The Tenant shall pay the Landlord $6,600.00 in rent arrears and $186.00 for the application filing fee. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by July 11, 2021, they will owe simple interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance starting July 12, 2021.
