What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to non-payment of rent. The Landlord also claimed charges related to NSF cheques. The Tenants did not attend the hearing.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated unless the Tenants void the order by paying $7,700.92 by November 7, 2022. If not voided, Tenants must move out by November 15, 2022, and pay $1,341.73 plus $51.82 per day from August 31, 2022, until they move out. The Landlord may file for eviction enforcement starting November 16, 2022, if the unit is not vacated.
