What happened

Landlord applied for an order to evict Tenant, who was a superintendent, because the Tenant's employment as superintendent had ended. The Landlord also claimed compensation for each day the Tenant remained in the unit after the termination date.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective July 16, 2021. The Tenant must move out by that date and pay the Landlord $16,176.96 for use of the unit from August 13, 2020 to July 5, 2021, plus $49.32 per day from July 6, 2021 until the Tenant moves out. The Tenant must also pay the $186 application fee.
