What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to wilful damage to the premises, use of the rental unit in a manner inconsistent with residential use, and seriously impairing the safety of others.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective January 19, 2021. The Tenants must pay the Landlord $1,481.69 for the cost of replacing the damaged property, $113.63 for compensation for use of the unit, and $186 for the application filing fee. If the unit is not vacated by January 19, 2021, the Landlord may file the order with the Sheriff for enforcement.
