What happened
Landlords applied to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to the Tenant's behavior of publicly exposing himself and urinating outside the home, as well as causing a fire hazard by leaving the water running and a space heater on in the rental unit. The Landlords are senior citizens and are constantly concerned for their safety due to the Tenant's behavior.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective April 24, 2021. The Tenant must move out by that date and pay the Landlords $214.44, which includes $28.44 per day for use of the unit after the termination date and the $186 application fee. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by April 24, 2021, they will start owing interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
