What happened

Landlord applied to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to non-payment of rent. The Tenant raised issues under section 82 of the RTA regarding lack of water or just hot water from taps.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective March 7, 2015. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $599.31 plus $23.84 per day starting February 25, 2015 until the unit is vacated. The Tenant can void the eviction order by paying $1,620 by February 28, 2015 or $2,345 by March 7, 2015.
