The ruling

The Residential Tenancies Act, 2006 applies to the landlord-tenant relationship unless a party can demonstrate that the Act or a section of the Act does not apply. Sections 100 and 87(3) of the Act apply for the entire duration of the tenancy agreement between the Landlord and Tenants.
