What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to persistent late payment of rent and because the Landlord requires possession of the rental unit for the purpose of residential occupation. The Landlord also claimed compensation for each day the Tenants remained in the unit after the termination date and determining that the Tenants did not pay rent the Tenant owed.
The ruling
The request to review order CEL-90648-19-RV issued on April 19, 2021 is denied. The order is confirmed and remains unchanged. The interim order CEL-90648-19-RV-IN2 issued on June 25, 2021 is cancelled. The stay of order CEL-90648-19 issued on November 26, 2020 is lifted.
