What happened

Landlord applied to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to the Tenant or someone the Tenant permitted causing undue damage to the rental unit and substantially interfering with the Landlord's reasonable enjoyment. The Landlord also sought an order for compensation for the costs to repair the damage.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective August 10, 2021. The Tenant must vacate the rental unit by that date. The Tenant is ordered to pay the Landlord $201 for the application filing fee. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by August 10, 2021, the Tenant will owe interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance starting August 11, 2021. If the unit is not vacated by August 10, 2021, the Landlord may file the order with the Sheriff for enforcement starting August 11, 2021.
