What happened
Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to non-payment of rent. Tenants failed to pay rent from July 1, 2021 to December 31, 2021. Landlords served a Notice of Termination effective September 1, 2021. Tenants did not attend the hearing.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective January 17, 2022, unless Tenants void the order by paying $15,936.00 on or before that date. Tenants must pay Landlords $11,872.29 plus $73.97 per day starting January 7, 2022. If full payment is not made by January 17, 2022, Landlords may file for eviction enforcement.
