What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent as per the previous order issued on October 5, 2020.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective February 15, 2021. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $4,879.16 (less any amount paid after the application was filed) by February 15, 2021. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by February 15, 2021, the Tenant will start owing interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance. If the unit is not vacated by February 15, 2021, the Landlord may file the order with the Sheriff to enforce the eviction.
