What happened

Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to Tenant, an occupant, or someone the Tenant permitted in the residential complex, wilfully or negligently causing undue damage to the premises, including damage to a railing and a window.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated, and the Tenant must vacate the rental unit by November 21, 2020. The Tenant is ordered to pay the Landlords $665.55 for the cost of repairing the damage and $175 for the application filing fee. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by November 21, 2020, the Tenant will owe interest starting November 22, 2020, and the Landlords may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office for enforcement.
