What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to non-payment of rent. The Tenant did not attend the hearing, and the Landlord's agent provided evidence that the Tenant was still in possession of the unit despite claiming to have moved out.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated unless the Tenant voids the order by paying $7,165.00 by February 20, 2023. If not voided, the Tenant must move out by February 20, 2023, and pay $4,353.74 plus $47.57 per day from February 3, 2023, until move-out. The Landlord may file for eviction enforcement starting February 21, 2023, if the unit is not vacated.
