What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to Tenant, another occupant, or someone Tenant permitted substantially interfering with the reasonable enjoyment or lawful right, privilege or interest of the Landlord or another tenant.
The ruling
The tenancy between the Landlord and the Tenant is terminated as of August 15, 2020. The Tenant must move out of the rental unit on or before August 15, 2020. The Tenant shall pay the Landlord $6,122.50 for compensation for the use of the unit from November 29, 2019 to August 4, 2020, and $24.49 per day for compensation for the use of the unit from August 5, 2020 to the date the Tenant moves out. The Tenant shall also pay the Landlord $190.00 for the cost of filing the application. Any payments by the Tenant to the Landlord after the application was filed are to be deducted from the amount ordered by the Board.
