What happened
Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants because the Landlords in good faith require possession of the rental unit for residential occupation for at least one year. The Landlords also claimed compensation for each day the Tenants remained in the unit after the termination date.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective January 15, 2023. The Tenants must move out by this date. They must continue to pay the monthly rent of $2500.00 until they vacate. If the unit is not vacated by January 15, 2023, the Landlords may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office for eviction enforcement starting January 16, 2023.
