What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent as specified in a previous order. The Tenant did not meet the conditions of the previous order to pay rent and arrears.

The ruling

The previous order TNL-30618-21 is cancelled. The tenancy is terminated and the Tenant must vacate the unit by September 25, 2021. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $11,151 for rent arrears and application fees, plus $50.96 per day for compensation starting September 1, 2021 until the Tenant vacates. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by September 25, 2021, the Tenant will owe interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
