What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to non-payment of rent and to end the tenancy at the end of term. Tenant had already vacated the rental unit on April 1, 2022, prior to the hearing date.

The tenancy was terminated effective April 1, 2022, the date the Tenant vacated the rental unit. The Tenant is ordered to pay $7,161.84 to the Landlord, which includes rent arrears up to the move-out date and the cost of filing the application, minus the rent deposit and interest on the deposit.
