What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent as per the previous order issued by the LTB on October 26, 2022.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective April 4, 2023. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $1,678.02 less any payments made since January 11, 2023, as well as $59.83 per day for compensation starting March 25, 2023 until the Tenant vacates the unit. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by April 4, 2023, the Tenant will owe interest at 5% annually on the outstanding balance.
